I am a professor of law and philosophy (by courtesy), currently on the faculty at Georgetown University. My scholarly interests range from tort law to legal theory, from ethics to philosophy of science. My blogger interests include progressive and liberal causes, politics, history, civil rights, and more. In 2008, I supported Hillary Rodham Clinton’s candidacy for U.S. President and joined others in insisting that the Democratic Party abide by its own rules and put her name in nomination at the party convention in Denver, Colorado. I co-founded The Denver Group to serve this end.
